The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. GMT, which is 7:30 p.m. Nigerian time, with both teams seeking to finish their impressive campaigns by lifting the trophy.
Nigeria secured their place in the final after producing a convincing 3-1 victory over Brazil in the semi-finals. Queen Joseph broke the deadlock in the 56th minute before Awawu Bashiru scored twice in the 71st and 80th minutes to give the Flamingos a commanding 3-0 lead.

Japan, meanwhile, booked their place after overcoming defending champions DPR Korea in a dramatic semi-final. Having fallen behind in the 52nd minute, the Japanese side forced extra pressure on their opponents with a stoppage-time own goal in the 90+5th minute.
The encounter was eventually decided through penalties, with Japan claiming a 4-1 victory to eliminate the reigning champions and advance to the championship match.
Both teams have negotiated difficult challenges to reach the final, setting up an exciting contest for the tournament’s biggest prize.
Nigeria will be hoping to win the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup for the first time in their history, having previously achieved a third-place finish in the 2022 edition.
Japan, on the other hand, will be aiming to add another title to their record after eliminating the defending champions.
Saturday’s showdown in Rabat will determine the 2026 champions, with the Flamingos looking to make history by bringing the trophy to Nigeria.
