Kane, who represents Bayern Munich, was crowned the winner of the 2026 Ballon d'Or after overcoming competition from several outstanding players, including Real Madrid forward Mbappe.

However, the celebrations surrounding the England captain's achievement were accompanied by controversy after some football supporters questioned the conduct of the two French internationals.
