Arsenal Face Fierce Competition In €50m Battle For Club Brugge Star

Arsenal are expected to face significant competition for the signature of Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi, with several European clubs monitoring his impressive performances ahead of next summer's transfer window.

According to a report by FootballTransfers on Thursday, 5 November 2026, the Gunners are among the clubs interested in the 22-year-old, who is attracting attention following an outstanding start to the season.

Tresoldi continued his excellent goalscoring form on Wednesday, finding the net in Club Brugge's 2-1 Champions League victory away to PSV Eindhoven.

The German youth international has now scored 14 goals in 16 appearances across all competitions this season, including five goals in four Champions League matches.

His performances have attracted interest from at least 10 clubs, with Arsenal among those closely monitoring his development.

Mikel Arteta's side were already tracking the forward last season before signing his former Club Brugge teammate Christos Tzolis during the summer transfer window.

A potential reunion between the two attackers at the Emirates Stadium could become a possibility next year. However, Arsenal will have to overcome considerable competition to secure his services.

AC Milan are also interested in Tresoldi, who grew up supporting the Italian club. Nevertheless, their financial strength could make it difficult to compete with Premier League sides.

Club Brugge are reportedly prepared to demand more than €50 million for the striker, having already received €40 million from Tzolis' summer transfer.

His rising value reflects his performances, with FootballTransfers' Estimated Transfer Value increasing from €20.7 million to €41.1 million in its November update.

The Belgian club are not expected to entertain his departure in January, meaning interested clubs will likely have to wait until next summer.

Tresoldi is also keeping his international future open. Eligible to represent Argentina, Italy and Germany, he currently plays for Germany's Under-21 team and intends to participate in next year's European Under-21 Championship before making a final decision.

For Arsenal, the striker's development could become particularly relevant amid uncertainty surrounding Viktor Gyökeres.

With several clubs expected to compete for his signature, Brugge are anticipating an international bidding contest next summer. Arsenal could be among the leading contenders if they decide to strengthen their attacking options.
