According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday, October 25, 2026, Chelsea Women came from behind to claim an important 3-1 win over Crystal Palace Women in the Women’s Super League.
Crystal Palace made a positive start and took the lead in the 20th minute. Molly Bartrip finished off a move created by Fuka Tsunoda, giving the hosts an early advantage and putting Chelsea under pressure.
The visitors struggled to find a response before the interval, with the opening half becoming increasingly competitive as players from both sides received yellow cards. However, Chelsea returned after the break with renewed attacking intent and made changes to improve their performance.
Their efforts paid off six minutes into the second half when Melvine Malard levelled the score. The forward found the net in the 51st minute after being set up by Katie McCabe, giving Chelsea fresh momentum.
Malard struck again in the 75th minute to complete Chelsea’s comeback. This time, Sandy Baltimore provided the assist after entering the game as a half-time substitute, putting the visitors in front for the first time.
Crystal Palace attempted to get back into the contest, but Chelsea defended their advantage effectively while continuing to threaten going forward.
The Blues eventually confirmed the victory in the 90th minute when Baltimore converted a penalty to make it 3-1 and put the result beyond doubt.
The comeback earned Chelsea three valuable points and lifted them to the top of the Women’s Super League standings. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, remained 12th after suffering defeat on home soil.
