According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, October 31, 2026, Chelsea have turned their attention towards their upcoming Premier League fixtures following an impressive victory over Manchester United. The result has provided the Blues with renewed confidence, and Xabi Alonso will be hoping his players can maintain their momentum as they prepare for five important matches that could have a significant impact on their league campaign.

Chelsea will begin this challenging run with an away encounter against Sunderland on November 8. The Blues will travel to the Stadium of Light, where they will be looking to produce another strong performance and collect all three points. Alonso will expect his players to approach the contest with determination as they seek to extend their positive run of results.

Their next assignment will see them return to Stamford Bridge to welcome Leeds United on November 21. Playing in front of their home supporters should provide Chelsea with additional motivation, although they will need to remain disciplined to avoid losing valuable points against their visitors.

On November 27, Chelsea will travel to face Nottingham Forest in another potentially difficult Premier League encounter. The fixture will test the squad's ability to maintain consistency, particularly with several demanding matches scheduled within a short period.

The Blues will then return to Stamford Bridge on December 2 to take on Crystal Palace. The London derby promises to be an important occasion for Alonso's side, who will be determined to secure a positive result and give their supporters another reason to celebrate.

Liverpool will provide the opposition in Chelsea's final match of this five-game sequence on December 5. Their visit to Stamford Bridge represents a major challenge, considering the quality and competitiveness both teams possess. Chelsea will need to deliver an organised and confident performance to secure maximum points.

Overall, these upcoming fixtures present Chelsea with an important opportunity to strengthen their position in the Premier League standings. Maintaining the confidence gained from their victory over Manchester United will be essential as they approach this demanding period.

Alonso will particularly want his players to remain focused, minimise defensive mistakes and make the most of their scoring opportunities. The results achieved across these five encounters could prove crucial in determining Chelsea's ambitions and progress throughout the 2026/27 Premier League season.
