According to a report by Madrid Universal on Tuesday November 3, 2026, Real Madrid midfielders Aurelien Tchouameni and Arda Guler have reportedly received special praise from people within the club's dressing room for their professionalism, commitment and impressive development under manager Jose Mourinho.

Los Blancos have enjoyed a remarkable improvement in form in recent weeks, winning their last six matches after experiencing a mixed start to the 2026/27 season.

Mourinho's tactical adjustments have helped the team produce more convincing performances, with several players stepping up and establishing themselves as important figures in his plans.

However, according to journalist Juanfe Sanz, speaking on El Chiringuito, Tchouameni and Guler have attracted particular admiration because of their attitude and commitment behind the scenes.

The two midfielders are reportedly setting positive examples for their teammates through their professionalism and dedication to improving their performances.

Tchouameni, in particular, is said to be gradually emerging as a leader within the Real Madrid dressing room despite not officially wearing the captain's armband.

The French international has impressed those around the club with his work ethic and commitment to physical preparation.

Sanz revealed that the midfielder regularly spends additional time in the gym, demonstrating his determination to maintain his fitness and continue improving.

"They've spoken wonders about him," the journalist explained while discussing the admiration Tchouameni has received.

His growing influence has also been evident on the pitch, where he has become an important part of Mourinho's midfield setup.

The 26-year-old has formed a partnership with Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva, with both players bringing different qualities to the team.

While Bernardo Silva provides control, creativity and incisive passing, Tchouameni takes on more defensive responsibilities, helping to protect the backline and win possession.

Their partnership has contributed to the balance of Mourinho's midfield, allowing Real Madrid to combine defensive stability with attacking quality.

Meanwhile, Guler has also earned considerable praise for the improvement in his mentality and overall approach to football.

According to Sanz, the Turkish international has made significant progress in terms of professionalism, attitude and his commitment during training sessions.

The club has reportedly noticed a remarkable transformation in his behaviour compared with previous seasons.

The 21-year-old has become one of Mourinho's important players, with his creativity and ability to produce opportunities making him an influential figure in the team's attacking play.

Guler has also performed impressively in several La Liga chance-creation statistics, further demonstrating his growing importance to the Spanish giants.

Interestingly, both Tchouameni and Guler have previously faced questions about their futures at Real Madrid.

However, their recent performances and improved attitudes appear to have strengthened their positions within the squad.

Their development will be particularly encouraging for Mourinho, who needs players capable of maintaining high standards both during matches and in training.

Despite their importance, neither player is expected to feature in Real Madrid's Champions League match against AEK Athens on Wednesday, with both reportedly being rested.

Their absence will give Mourinho an opportunity to assess other options, although losing two influential midfielders could present a challenge for the team.
