Final EPL Table After Today's Matches

According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, October 24, 2026, the Premier League standings experienced major changes after a series of exciting fixtures, with Arsenal drawing level on points with Manchester City following a 2-0 victory over Everton. Manchester City suffered their first league defeat of the season, losing 2-1 to Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur recorded an impressive 2-0 away win against Chelsea, while Fulham defeated Coventry City 1-0.

Manchester City remain at the top of the table with 21 points from eight matches, but Arsenal have accumulated the same number of points after their latest victory. Arsenal's superior goal difference has increased the pressure on the defending champions as competition for the top position intensifies. City's defeat was particularly disappointing after they had won their first seven league matches of the campaign.

Brighton occupy third place with 16 points, while Chelsea remain fourth with 13 points despite their disappointing home defeat to Tottenham. Liverpool are fifth with 12 points, followed by Aston Villa in sixth position with 11 points after their victory over Manchester City. Nicolas Jackson reportedly scored twice to help Villa secure the important result.

Brentford occupy seventh place with 10 points, level with Leeds United in eighth position. Everton have dropped to ninth following their loss to Arsenal, while Ipswich Town complete the top 10, with both clubs recording 10 points.

Hull City sit eleventh with nine points, while Tottenham have climbed to twelfth place with the same number of points after their impressive performance at Stamford Bridge. Their victory over Chelsea could provide renewed confidence as they seek to improve their position in the coming weeks.

Fulham occupy thirteenth place with eight points, followed by Newcastle United in fourteenth position, also with eight points. Manchester United are fifteenth with seven points, level with Crystal Palace in sixteenth place.

AFC Bournemouth sit seventeenth with six points, while Nottingham Forest occupy eighteenth position with the same total. Coventry City are nineteenth with six points following their narrow defeat to Fulham, while Sunderland remain at the bottom of the standings with four points.

With additional fixtures scheduled for Sunday, October 25, the league table could experience further changes. Arsenal will aim to maintain their challenge for the top spot, while Manchester City will seek an immediate response to their first defeat. Tottenham will also hope to build on their victory as the competition for European qualification and survival continues.
