Arsenal prodigy Max Dowman is now the world’s most valuable footballer under 18, with his estimated transfer value reaching €63.5 million. The figure reflects his rapid progress under manager Mikel Arteta.
A FootballTransfers report published on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, said the 16-year-old’s estimated value had risen by €53.4 million after he broke into Arsenal’s senior side.
Dowman joined the first team at just 15. In 18 appearances for the Gunners, he has scored three goals and provided one assist across 676 minutes of senior football.
He has continued to attract attention this season, scoring twice in Arsenal’s EFL Cup win over Ipswich Town. He was later sent off in the next round against Fleetwood in a decision that drew controversy.
His valuation is far higher than that of other promising young players in Europe. Metz midfielder Believe Munongo is the next most valuable 16-year-old, with an estimated value of €14.3 million.
Dowman is also valued above several notable 17-year-olds, including Bayer Leverkusen’s Kennet Eichhorn, at €27.8 million, and Swansea City’s Jeremy Monga, at €20.9 million.
His rise comes as Arsenal contend with concerns about Bukayo Saka’s form and fitness. Saka’s estimated transfer value has reportedly fallen by €15.6 million over the past month to €97.1 million. Last season, he scored 11 goals and recorded nine assists in 49 appearances, below the level he had previously set at the Emirates.
Saka made a promising start to the current campaign, but a thigh injury has interrupted his progress and is expected to sideline him until December.
His absence has created more opportunities for Dowman. Arsenal have won consecutive matches against Everton and Liverpool without the influential winger.
Saka remains a key player for Arteta, but Dowman’s emergence gives the manager another attacking option and may increase competition for places. The teenager still has plenty of room to grow, but his performances and soaring valuation have raised expectations around one of Arsenal’s most promising prospects.
