Premier League Table: Man City Lead Arsenal Ahead of Saturday’s Fixtures as Chelsea Face Tottenham

According to a report by BBC Sport on Friday, October 23, 2026, Manchester City remain at the top of the Premier League table ahead of Saturday’s fixtures, with the competition for the title, European qualification and survival continuing to gather momentum.

City have made an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign, winning all seven of their opening league matches to collect 21 points. Their perfect record has given them a three-point cushion over Arsenal, who occupy second place with 18 points after recording six wins and one defeat.

Brighton and Hove Albion sit third with 16 points, followed by Chelsea in fourth place with 13 points. Liverpool complete the top five with 12 points as clubs continue to battle for positions in the European qualification places.

Brentford are sixth with 10 points, level with Leeds United in seventh and Everton in eighth. Hull City occupy ninth place with nine points, the same total as Ipswich Town in 10th.

Newcastle United sit 11th with eight points, level with Aston Villa in 12th. Manchester United are 13th with seven points after collecting one win, four draws and two defeats from their opening seven matches. Crystal Palace are immediately behind them in 14th, also on seven points.

Coventry City will take on Fulham in another contest involving sides looking to build momentum. Both teams will view the match as an opportunity to collect important points and improve their positions in the table.

The day’s final fixture will see Chelsea host Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge in a London derby. Chelsea will be targeting another victory to strengthen their position among the top four, while Tottenham will hope to claim points that could help them climb the standings.
