After a stunning win against Manchester United, Chelsea will face a busy run of Premier League games in November and December.
The Blues kick off their busy five game run with a trip to Sunderland on the 8th of November (Sat 31 Oct 2026), reports BBC Sport. Alonso will be hoping his team can continue their good form and pick up three more points at the Stadium of Light.
They will then return to Stamford Bridge on the 21st of November to face Leeds United. They will be favourites to take advantage of their home advantage but will need to be disciplined again to get the better of their opponents.
The next game will be an away game against Nottingham Forest on the 27th of November which could prove to be tough for Alonso's men.
They will have very little time to recover ahead of a London derby against Crystal Palace on the 2nd of December. However, the toughest game of the run could be on the 5th of December against Liverpool.
This game is seen as a big test for how far Alonso have come with the Blues as they aim to show they can compete with the best in the Premier League. Overall, this busy run of games will be key for Chelsea to see where they stand in the league.
After beating Manchester United, Alonso will be looking to keep his team consistent and not lose any unnecessary points. He will want them to gain momentum through this busy period.
