SLA 0-2 ARS: Outstanding Players For Arsenal in The First Half of The Champions League Match

According to a report by Flashscore on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, Arsenal delivered an impressive first-half display against Slavia Prague, taking a commanding 2-0 lead into the break in their UEFA Champions League clash.

Mikel Arteta's men controlled much of the opening 45 minutes, enjoying possession, creating several goalscoring chances and showcasing their attacking strength against the Czech side.

Four Arsenal players stood out during the first half, making significant contributions to the team's dominant performance.

Viktor Gyökeres was among the most influential players, playing a direct role in both goals. The Swedish striker produced an excellent long-range pass to set up Noni Madueke for the opening goal before getting on the scoresheet himself in the 38th minute. He found the net after receiving a pass from Mikel Merino and had earlier tested the opposition goalkeeper with a dangerous attempt.

Madueke also impressed after giving Arsenal the lead in the ninth minute. The winger finished confidently into the bottom-left corner following a precise pass from Gyökeres. His movement and attacking threat caused problems for Slavia Prague's defence and helped the Gunners take control of the contest early.

Merino was another key figure in Arsenal's attacking performance. The midfielder consistently made dangerous runs into the opposition penalty area and provided the assist for Gyökeres' goal in the 38th minute. He also came close to scoring earlier, with a header and a powerful effort that required an excellent save from the goalkeeper.

Eberechi Eze completed the list of standout performers with an impressive display of creativity and attacking intelligence. The midfielder repeatedly found spaces in Slavia Prague's defence and used his individual quality to create opportunities. His skillful effort in the 26th minute looked destined for the net, but a defender cleared the ball off the goal line.

Overall, Arsenal's attacking quality and dominance in the first half were reflected in their two-goal advantage, with Gyökeres, Madueke, Merino and Eze all playing important roles in the team's strong performance.
