Club Brugge have ruled out selling Arsenal transfer target Nicolo Tresoldi during the January transfer window despite growing interest in the striker following his impressive goalscoring form.
According to a report by Metro on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, the Belgian champions are determined to retain the Germany Under-21 international until at least the end of the current season, even if they receive a substantial offer from an interested club.
Tresoldi has enjoyed an outstanding start to the 2026/27 campaign, scoring nine goals in his opening 13 appearances across all competitions. His recent performances include a hat-trick in Club Brugge's 3-2 victory over St Truiden on Sunday.
The 22-year-old also impressed during his debut season in Belgium, finishing as the Belgian Pro League's leading goalscorer last term with 19 goals in 40 league appearances.
His performances have attracted attention from several European clubs, with Arsenal reportedly among the Premier League sides monitoring his development.
According to the report, Arsenal have been exploring the possibility of signing Tresoldi in January amid uncertainty surrounding Viktor Gyokeres' future at the Emirates Stadium.
However, Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad reports that Club Brugge are unwilling to negotiate his departure during the winter transfer window.
An unnamed club board member reportedly made the Belgian side's position clear, saying: "There is and will be no price for Nicolo,"
Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are also believed to be interested in the striker.
Club Brugge want Tresoldi to remain a central figure in Ivan Leko's attack as they attempt to defend their domestic title and compete successfully in the Champions League.
The club are reportedly more open to considering his future next summer, when they may be prepared to allow him to pursue opportunities at a bigger club rather than stand in the way of his career progression.
Tresoldi, whose contract runs until June 2029, has also spoken about his determination to continue improving his overall game.
"I’m trying to become as complete as possible, not only in the box but I’m trying also to be more complete outside the box," he said.
