According to a report by Barca Universal on Friday October 23, 2026, Barcelona winger Karim Adeyemi has revealed that Xavi Espart is the La Masia youngster who has impressed him most since arriving at the club, praising the young talent ahead of Sunday’s highly anticipated El Clasico against Real Madrid.

Adeyemi made the revelation while answering questions from supporters through Barcelona’s YouTube channel on Friday, offering an insight into his early experiences at the club and the young players catching his attention.

“Xavi Espart is really good. He impressed me,” Adeyemi said.

Espart has been enjoying opportunities to showcase his ability, and his performances have clearly caught the attention of the Barcelona winger. The youngster also impressed during the recent 4-2 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain, despite the disappointing result for the Catalan side.

Adeyemi’s praise will be encouraging for Barcelona supporters, particularly those following the progress of the club’s academy prospects. La Masia has a proud history of producing talented players, and Espart will hope to continue developing and earn further opportunities with the first team.

The winger also spoke positively about his decision to join Barcelona, explaining that the club’s reputation and history made the move an easy choice.

“I was very clear about it. The best players in the world have always played here. This club is incredible,” he explained.

Adeyemi added that he had settled comfortably in Catalonia, praising the people and atmosphere around the club. He also credited manager Hansi Flick as one of the main reasons behind his decision to join, describing the German coach as an important figure who maintains a strong connection with his players.

With El Clasico approaching, Adeyemi expressed his excitement about facing Real Madrid in one of football’s biggest fixtures. He also praised teammates Lamine Yamal and Raphinha when asked which Barcelona players were most difficult to defend against during training.
