According to a report by FootballTransfers on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are among the Premier League clubs monitoring Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi ahead of a possible transfer in 2027. However, questions remain over whether the young forward can deliver the same level of performance in England.
The 22-year-old has attracted interest from several English clubs following his impressive goalscoring form in Belgium.
Tresoldi has scored 11 goals in 12 appearances in the Belgian league and Champions League combined, making him one of the players attracting attention ahead of the next transfer window. His performances have reportedly encouraged Club Brugge to place a €40 million valuation on him.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are not alone in monitoring the striker. Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have also been linked with an interest in the Germany Under-21 international.
Concerns Over His Ability
Despite his recent performances, there are doubts about whether Tresoldi is ready to become a regular starter for a leading Premier League club.
According to FootballTransfers, football data company SciSports believes the striker has improved significantly in 2026 but may still need time to establish himself at a top English club.
A move to Chelsea could also present challenges, as he would have to compete for playing time rather than immediately secure a starting position.
Arsenal and Manchester City could offer similar difficulties because of the quality and competition within their squads.
The report also pointed to Christos Tzolis as an example of how difficult it can be for a productive Club Brugge player to make an immediate impact in England. Tzolis joined Arsenal in a reported €40 million deal but recorded one assist in his first five Premier League appearances before suffering a thigh injury.
A Potential Transfer Gamble
Tresoldi's goalscoring record has made him an attractive prospect, but moving to the Premier League would represent a different challenge.
The striker has yet to prove himself in one of Europe's major domestic leagues, meaning interested clubs would have to consider both his potential and the risks involved.
With several teams reportedly monitoring his progress, his performances in the coming months could influence his next career decision.
Club Brugge's valuation and the possibility of limited playing time may also affect whether any of the interested clubs decide to make a formal move.
