The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that Egypt will host the CAF Women’s Champions League finals for the second year in a row.
Egypt has now hosted the competition three times, including the first edition in 2021.
Eight clubs, representing the winners from CAF’s different zones, will gather in Egypt from November 1 to 15, 2026, to compete for the continental title.
Several teams have already qualified through their regional competitions.
They include two-time champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, representing the COSAFA zone; Kawempe Muslim of Uganda, representing CECAFA; Lekié FF of Cameroon, representing UNIFFAC; and USFAS of Mali, representing WAFU Zone A.
Morocco will have two teams in the competition. Fath Union Sport (FUS) Rabat qualified through the UNAF qualifiers, while AS FAR Rabat will enter as the defending champions.
The final two places will go to the winner representing WAFU Zone B, which is yet to be confirmed, and a club representing host nation Egypt.
The CAF Women’s Champions League has become an important competition on the African women’s football calendar. The 2026 edition will give the qualified clubs another chance to compete at the highest level on the continent and support the growth of women’s football in Africa.
