Besiktas have renewed their interest in Sunderland winger Chemsdine Talbi as they seek to strengthen their attack during the winter transfer window.
The Turkish club are looking for greater depth in wide areas, with the 21-year-old Morocco international once again included on their recruitment shortlist. Besiktas believe Talbi fits the profile required to add more threat and variety to their forward line.
According to Sporx, the Black Eagles are preparing to reinforce several positions in the next transfer window. Alongside their search for wingers, the club intend to sign a defensive midfielder and another central midfielder.
However, Besiktas face significant financial restrictions in attempting to complete a deal for Talbi. The player's transfer value is estimated at 20m euros, which has led the Turkish side to consider a loan proposal rather than pursuing a permanent transfer.
Talbi remains under contract with Sunderland until June 2030. He earns 2,412,490 euros (£2,? million; 1,568,118,500 FCFA) per year, while his current market value is assessed at 25m euros by Transfermarkt.
Sunderland are due to face Bournemouth in their seventh match of the English league season.
