Bibiani Gold Stars coach Petros Koukouras has warned his team to prepare for a difficult game against newly promoted Debibi United in the Ghana Premier League.

Gold Stars will travel to Debibi Presby Park hoping to build on their recent win over Basake Holy Stars and move up the league table.

Koukouras expects a tough contest, saying Debibi United have made life difficult for visiting teams this season.

“You see, Debibi United, same as all the newly promoted teams, they are very competitive. We have to expect a very tough game, a very tight game. We’ve seen that all the teams that they have traveled to play there, they didn’t have an easy day. So we must go there and fight with all what we have and continue the good performances that we have started,” he told GoldStars TV.

Gold Stars beat Basake Holy Stars 2-0 in Matchweek Six, with Kwame Opoku scoring both goals to secure three important points.
