Home favourite Ruoning Yin won the Buick LPGA Shanghai for the second time in three years with four birdies on the inward nine enough to edge out Korea's Hye Jin Choi by a stroke.
Yin, the 2023 Women's PGA Championship winner, began the final round two strokes back but a four under par 68 on Sunday was the strongest showing of the leading contenders.
Successive birdies on the 70th and 71st holes saw the 24-year old hit the front at the right time to take the title.
Leona Maguire and Lauren Walsh both bounced back from difficult days in inclement conditions on Saturday to record rounds of 69 and 68 respectively.
Maguire, who slumped to a 77 in poor weather on Saturday, recorded a bogey-free three under par final round to finish on two over par overall, tied-22nd for the tournament.
Walsh had rounds of 82 and 78 on Friday and Saturday but recovered with a fine 68 on Sunday, decorated with six birdies, to finish on 10 over par for the week.
