Both series continue on Wednesday, with Game 4 offering Watoto a chance to move closer to the men’s title and Seeta an opportunity to draw level.

KIU took advantage in the second quarter, scoring 12 unanswered points as Watoto went more than seven minutes without scoring. Edrine Mugisha finally broke the drought with a three-pointer, sparking a brief response from Watoto, who added six more points.
The Titans still led 32-30 at halftime.
The third quarter was closely contested, with neither side leading by more than four points. The lead changed hands four times as both teams fought for control.
James Osinde set up Victor Makmot for an alley-oop that thrilled the crowd. However, the mood changed when Daniel Odokonyero received a disqualifying foul for a hard challenge on Makmot as he attempted a dunk. Makmot left the court and was later taken to hospital, an incident that angered spectators.
Watoto took charge in the fourth quarter, producing a 13-2 run to open a 10-point lead with more than five minutes remaining.
KIU fought back, and Okumu Emmanuel’s three-pointer with about a minute left cut the deficit to three points. But Omara answered immediately to keep Watoto ahead as they closed out a 67-60 victory.
Omara finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals. Fortunate Kamugisha added 13 points, while Makmot contributed nine points and eight rebounds in 17 minutes.
KIU’s Richard Mutawulu led his side with 14 points, including four three-pointers. Ryan Akena scored 11 points, while Chieng Garang added 10.
KIU had won the opening game 64-59 on October 14 before Watoto levelled the series with a 48-42 victory on October 16. Sunday’s win gives Watoto back-to-back victories and the series advantage.
A win on Wednesday would put Watoto within reach of the title, while KIU must respond to keep their championship hopes on track.
