  • Maroons vs Kataka – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku 4pm

Kataka take a long trip from Mbale to Kampala where Maroons are the opponents on Tuesday October 19, 2026 at the Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

The league debutants remain winless in the topflight and will hope to secure their first win of the season against the on and off prison warders.

Heading into the game, Kataka come off a 5-0 humiliating defeat to champions Vipers who had been held by Maroons to a 1-1 draw in the match before.

Kataka have suffered four defeats in six league matches and sit second from bottom with only two points, one ahead of fellow league debutants Kigezi Home Boyz who sit at the base of the 18-team log.

A win will lift them from the relegation zone for the first time but must be lethal at both ends against Umar Abdallah Loi side who are 10th with seven points and will move up to sixth place with a victory.

The hosts come into the game as favourites in all spheres and will hope their forward line led by Fred Amaku, Raymond Walugembe and Dickson Niwamanya are in fine form.
