The Pakistan Super League (PSL 12) has scheduled the player auction for its 12th edition for January 23, 2027, as preparations for the tournament gather pace.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and PSL management have finalised the player-movement calendar ahead of the upcoming season. The process includes direct signings, player retentions, trades and the auction.
The direct signing window opened on October 23 and will remain open until November 23, 2026. Each of the eight franchises can directly sign one marquee player who did not feature in PSL 10 or PSL 11.

Meanwhile, a franchise workshop will take place next week to finalise deadlines for player retentions and the pre-auction trade window. Officials will also discuss auction rules and playing conditions.
PSL 12 will run from March 18 to May 2, 2027. The tournament will feature 44 matches over 46 days across five to six venues.
