Gavin Hunt Backs Bradley Grobler in Push for PSL Goalscoring Record

Stellenbosch FC head coach Gavin Hunt has expressed his determination to help veteran striker Bradley Grobler chase the Premier Soccer League (PSL) all-time goalscoring record currently associated with Peter Shalulile.

Hunt believes Grobler still has what it takes to make a significant impact in South African football and has made it clear that he is willing to support the experienced forward in his pursuit of the historic milestone.

The Stellenbosch coach acknowledged Grobler's ambitions, suggesting that the striker is determined to challenge Shalulile's position among the league's leading goalscorers.

Speaking about the striker's pursuit, Hunt said: "He is obviously pushing for that PSL record, I will try to help him get there. He needs us; we need him because he can do it."

His comments underline the importance of teamwork in helping Grobler achieve his personal target while contributing to Stellenbosch FC's ambitions.

Grobler's Experience Could Prove Crucial

Grobler has built a reputation as an experienced goalscorer in South African football. His movement, positioning and ability to find the net have made him a valuable attacking option throughout his career.

Hunt's backing could provide additional motivation as the striker looks to add more goals to his tally. However, reaching the all-time record will depend on his continued performances, opportunities in front of goal and consistency throughout the campaign.

Meanwhile, Shalulile remains a major figure in the PSL goalscoring conversation, and the race for the league's most prestigious scoring milestone continues to attract attention.

For Stellenbosch, helping Grobler pursue the record could also benefit the team, as his goals may prove decisive in important matches.

With Hunt publicly declaring his support, attention will now turn to Grobler's performances and whether the veteran striker can turn his ambition into a historic achievement.
