Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has addressed rumors of a supposed conflict with assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi, emphasizing that there are no issues between them and that everything is well within the club.

Concerns about a potential rift have gained traction among Orlando Pirates supporters, but Ouaddou has refuted these claims, urging fans not to create unnecessary tension surrounding the team.

He clarified that supporters and observers should avoid assuming there are problems in the technical staff without accurate information. Ouaddou stated that the situation has been misinterpreted and there is no need for stories suggesting discord between the two coaches. “People must not start creating problems,” he said, responding to the speculation.

His remarks are meant to reassure Pirates supporters who may have been worried about the dynamics within the coaching staff. Ncikazi has played a significant role in the coaching team, contributing his experience and understanding of South African football, which makes their working relationship particularly noteworthy as the club competes in both domestic and international tournaments.

Ouaddou also updated fans about Ncikazi's health, sharing that the assistant coach is recuperating from surgery. He expressed his well-wishes for Ncikazi's recovery, clarifying that his absence should not be misconstrued as evidence of any conflict.

This situation seems to be solely related to Ncikazi's recovery rather than any alleged tensions, although specific details about his recovery timeline were not disclosed.

For Orlando Pirates, ensuring stability within the coaching staff is vital as they pursue their goals this season. Collaboration between the head coach and his assistants is crucial for player preparation, tactical planning, and managing the challenges of a competitive season.

Pirates fans will be hoping for Ncikazi's swift recovery so he can return to his role, as his experience is valuable for the club's continued success.

Ouaddou’s statements convey a clear message that rumors should not be misconstrued as reality. He is keen to keep the focus on football and the club's objectives rather than letting speculation overshadow discussions about the team.

Currently, Ouaddou has publicly dismissed any notions of a fallout while wishing Ncikazi well on his path to recovery.
