"We Are Not Here To Nurse People" Abdeslam Ouaddou Hit Out After Orlando Pirates Beat Milford FC

After the Orlando Pirates defeated Milford FC 3-0 on Tuesday in the Carling Knockout Round of 16, head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou sent a clear message about what he expects from the club.

Ouaddou was reportedly dissatisfied with some parts of his team's performance, especially their inability to sustain the level of control he expected throughout the match, even though they secured a clear victory and guarantyd their spot in the quarterfinals.

"We are not here to nurse people," the Pirates coach declared, outlining his stance. As the Buccaneers continue to chase trophies this season, his comments have highlighted the expectations he has of his players.

The Soweto giants were able to defeat Milford FC and move on to the next round of the competition thanks to their 3-0 triumph. Ouaddou's response, however, implies that the outcome by itself did not satisfy him.

Regarding the team's performance, the coach voiced his displeasure with the way the players handled the match, saying he was not pleased with their performance since they did not exercise enough control.

Even when the team wins handily, his remarks highlight the value he placed on focus, discipline, and tactical execution.

Performances are frequently evaluated by factors other than the final score for a team with the aspirations and expectations of the Orlando Pirates. Securing the victory may not be as crucial as controlling possession, setting the game's tempo, and maintaining organization throughout.

Regardless of the competition or the score, Ouaddou's response suggests that he wants his players to uphold high standards. As the Pirates get ready for the difficulties that lie ahead in the Carling Knockout and their other competitions, his expectations are probably going to stay high.

The Buccaneers have a chance to gather momentum after their victory over Milford FC, but the coach's remarks imply that there is still work to be done in the background.

Although Ouaddou is determined to make sure the club keeps progressing rather than becoming complacent after a convincing result, Pirates supporters will enjoy the side's advancement to the quarterfinals.

The Buccaneers must combine their attacking prowess with more consistency and control as the knockout tournament moves on to the next round in order to meet their goals.

For Ouaddou, the message is clear: while winning games is important, maintaining the necessary performance standards is still of utmost importance.
