Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have discovered their opponents for the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League following the official draw held in Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday.
The COSAFA champions have been placed in Group A alongside Egyptian hosts FC Masar, Cameroonian newcomers Lekie Football Girls and Moroccan outfit FUS Rabat.
Sundowns will begin their campaign against FC Masar on 1 November, hoping to make a strong start to their quest for continental glory.
Their second group-stage encounter will be against Lekie Football Girls on 4 November, before they wrap up the group stage against FUS Rabat on 7 November.
Meanwhile, Group B features defending champions ASFAR of Morocco, Mali’s USFAS Bamako and Ugandan newcomers Kawempe Muslim Ladies. The final team in the group will be determined by the WAFU B qualifying competition, where Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa and Nigeria’s Edo Queens are competing for the remaining spot.
The sixth edition of the prestigious tournament will take place in Egypt from 1 to 15 November.
Sundowns Ladies have lifted the trophy twice but missed last season’s competition after losing to Botswana’s Gaborone United in the COSAFA qualifiers. They also endured disappointment the previous year, failing to advance beyond the group stage at the continental finals.
