Kaizer Chiefs have discovered their opponents for the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals, with the Soweto giants set to face Siwelele FC as they continue their pursuit of silverware this season.

The draw gives Amakhosi a clear target as they look to build momentum and progress towards the semi-finals. Their qualification for the last eight came after an impressive 3-0 victory over TS Galaxy, a result that provided a timely boost for head coach Fernando Da Cruz and his players.

Wandile Duba was the star of the show against TS Galaxy, scoring all three goals to secure a memorable hat-trick. His outstanding performance helped Chiefs end a four-match winless run and offered renewed hope to supporters who have been waiting for consistent results from the team.

The victory was particularly encouraging because Chiefs demonstrated their attacking potential while keeping a clean sheet. Da Cruz will now hope his players can maintain that level of performance as the season progresses.

However, the quarter-final against Siwelele FC will present another test for the Glamour Boys. Chiefs will need to approach the encounter with discipline, determination and concentration if they are to secure a place in the semi-finals.

Siwelele will also be eager to make their opportunity count, knowing that eliminating one of South African football's biggest clubs would represent a significant achievement in their Carling Knockout campaign.

For Chiefs, the competition offers another opportunity to challenge for a trophy and reward their passionate supporters with a successful season. Progress in the tournament could also provide further confidence as they navigate their domestic commitments.

Before turning their full attention to the quarter-final, Amakhosi must prepare for the upcoming Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates, another important fixture that could influence the team's momentum.

Da Cruz and his technical team will therefore face the challenge of managing the squad carefully while ensuring the players remain focused on their objectives.

With a place in the semi-finals at stake, Chiefs will be determined to reproduce the intensity they displayed against TS Galaxy and take another step towards Carling Knockout Cup glory.
