Why Tim Sukazi Says Kaizer Chiefs Put R2 From Every Packet Towards New Players

Junior Khanye Praises Wandile Duba After Kaizer Chiefs Hat Trick

Former Kaizer Chiefs winger and iDiski TV analyst Junior Khanye has praised Wandile Duba following the young striker's impressive hat trick in Amakhosi's 3-0 victory over TS Galaxy in the Carling Knockout Cup at FNB Stadium on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old forward delivered a decisive second-half performance, scoring all three goals to secure Kaizer Chiefs' place in the quarter-finals. His outstanding display highlighted his growing importance to the team's attacking department and further strengthened his reputation as a promising talent.

Duba's hat trick also took his goal tally to six across all competitions this season, underlining his contribution to the Soweto giants as they continue their campaign.

Speaking on iDiski TV, Khanye applauded the striker's finishing ability, determination, confidence and willingness to take responsibility in front of goal. He believes Duba has the potential to develop into an important striker for Kaizer Chiefs if he maintains his current form and continues improving his overall game.

However, the former Amakhosi winger warned the youngster against excessive celebrations, stressing that consistency will be crucial to his development. Khanye suggested that Duba could attract criticism if his celebrations become a talking point during periods when he struggles to score.

The analyst believes the young forward should remain focused on delivering performances rather than giving critics reasons to question his attitude when goals become harder to find.

Despite expressing reservations about certain aspects of Duba's technical ability, Khanye acknowledged his intelligent passing, powerful runs and ability to exploit defensive mistakes. These qualities could make him a valuable attacking option for Amakhosi throughout the season.

Duba's performance provides encouragement for Kaizer Chiefs supporters, who will hope the striker can maintain his scoring touch as the club pursues silverware.

With his confidence growing, the challenge now is to turn this memorable performance into sustained success. If Duba continues finding the net regularly, he could establish himself as one of Chiefs' most dependable attacking players.
