Patrick Maswanganyi Reportedly Leaves Al-Khaldiya SC After Two Months

After playing for the Bahraini team Al-Khaldiya SC for around two months, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Patrick "Tito" Maswanganyi's contract was reportedly cancelled with immediate effect.

Reports state that the decision was made in response to an alleged disciplinary incident involving a technical team member in the dressing room. Local Bahraini publications have connected the alleged firing to disciplinary issues, despite the club not disclosing all the information.

Just months after starting his stint overseas, Maswanganyi, a South African midfielder, may once again be searching for a new team due to his suspected departure.

His next move has been the subject of conjecture among South African football fans, with some speculating that a return to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) may be imminent.

Although there has been no formal confirmation of a potential reunion with the Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates has also been brought up in fan talks.

According to the most recent sources, Maswanganyi has not yet made a public statement regarding the matter, and neither a move to a different club nor a possible return to South Africa have been formally verified.

As fans wait for more information about the midfield player's future, his next professional transfer is currently unknown.
