Barça's win at Betis saw them record their 11th win in 11 matches this season, and their ninth straight win in La Liga. Furthermore, in further evidence of their attacking threat from all over the pitch, three more players added their names to the list of blaugrana goalscorers so far this season in the league.
The 5-2 win in the La Cartuja stadium saw five different goalscorers, three of them, Rodrigo, Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo, scoring their first goals of the season for the blaugranes in the league. That makes 13 players who have scored for Hansi Flick's team so far this season, a record amongst the top five European leagues.
The only team close to Barça in terms of goalscorers are Betis themselves with 10, alongside Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and Internazionale from Serie A. With one goal in La Liga along with the new trio of Rodri, Dani Olmo and Eric Garcia, we also find Anthony Gordon and Kounde, goalscorers in the win last weekend over Getafe as well as Xavi Espart, Pedri and Cancelo.
With two goals in La Liga we have Karim Adeyemi, on three Gabriel Jesus, Fermín has four behind Lamine on eight and current league topscorer Raphinha on 12.
All this goes to show that against Hansi Flick's Barça, the goal threat does not just come from the attacking players up front but from all over the pitch. Beware.
