Hull City head coach Sergej Jakirovic labelled Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Fulham as the worst performance during what has been a successful tenure so far, saying it was men against boys in the capital.
City were second best from start to finish against the Premier League's bottom side, failing to muster a single shot on target at Craven Cottage.
Alex Iwobi's 33rd-minute goal was enough for the Cottagers to seal a victory that was far more comprehensive than the scoreline suggested, and in truth, it should have been made much more comfortable.

Jakirovic's side were sloppy with and without the ball, lacklustre and never looked capable of getting anything from a game that Fulham dominated from start to finish. Ryan Sessegnon's 93rd-minute red card for a crude foul on Robinho Vaz was too late to have any impact and left the Tigers' substitute in real trouble as he was helped off the field by the club's medical staff.
"That was the worst performance since I've been here," the Croatian told Hull Live in London. "If you ask me about the reasons, I don't know right now. I have to watch this game again, but we were out of everything in possession, out of possession.
"Fulham were much, much better than us, and congratulations to them. They played, I mean, an excellent game. Sometimes there was fear to receive the ball, to pass the ball, and to make better decisions. In the second half, we showed some reactions, we changed the system, but again, in the last third, nothing. We didn't have even a shot on target, so it's a pretty bad day for us.
"We were really poor, very poor. You know that I'm trying to be honest always and direct, so it's easy to analyse this game. We were so far off from everything. I can say 1-0 is a good result for us. It was a very tough game for us at every moment. They ate us alive."
