Garrett Wilson is in the concussion protocol

The Jets may be without wide receiver Garrett Wilson in Kansas City this weekend.

Head coach Aaron Glenn said in a Wednesday press conference that Wilson is in the concussion protocol. It’s not clear when Wilson entered the protocol or began experiencing concussion symptoms as he did not leave last Sunday’s 38-33 loss to the Raiders before the final whistle.

Glenn called Wilson, who had six catches for 83 yards during the loss, day-to-day and his progress through the protocol will be tracked over the next few days. He has 43 catches for 527 yards and three touchdowns on the season.

Adonai Mitchell, Omar Cooper, Isaiah Williams, Tim Patrick, and Malik McClain are the other wideouts on the 53-man roster for the Jets.
