Ravens announce uniform combination for Week 9 against Jaguars

The Baltimore Ravens will have a new look under the lights when they return to M&T Bank Stadium for Thursday Night Football against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. Baltimore revealed its uniform combination for the Nov. 5 matchup, confirming the debut of its new "Purple Rising" collection. The Ravens will wear purple helmets, jerseys, pants, and socks, creating an all-purple look for the nationally televised AFC matchup.

The combination is part of the franchise's Next Flight uniform collection, which was unveiled during the offseason as Baltimore introduced its first major uniform redesign in 26 years. The updated collection incorporates new helmet designs, revised jersey numbers, and detailing inspired by the characteristics of a raven.

Ravens debut new Purple Rising uniform combination

The centerpiece of Thursday's look is the Purple Rising helmet, featuring a metallic purple shell, gold facemask, and gold talon stripes. The helmet debuted in 2024, but the updated version now features Baltimore's primary Ravens logo.

The purple jerseys include metallic gold accents and Midnight Purple detailing, while the pants and socks complete the monochromatic combination. The updated design also incorporates iridescent elements intended to reflect purple in the light while appearing darker in the shadows. Baltimore first introduced the Purple Rising identity in 2024, building the concept around overcoming adversity and responding to difficult circumstances. The franchise has now incorporated that branding into its redesigned alternate uniforms, with the name appearing inside the jersey collar.

The Ravens announced in September that the Jaguars matchup would serve as the on-field debut of the updated Purple Rising combination. Fans have also been encouraged to wear purple for the primetime game.

Ravens return home for Thursday Night Football

The uniform debut comes during a challenging stretch for Baltimore, which suffered a 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 8 and faces questions surrounding its quarterback situation after injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.

With a short turnaround before facing Jacksonville, the Ravens must quickly shift their attention toward stabilizing an offense that struggled against Buffalo. Thursday's matchup will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET at M&T Bank Stadium, with the game streaming nationally on Prime Video. Baltimore will also recognize Salute to Service during the contest.

The Ravens have another uniform debut scheduled for Nov. 16, when they will wear their new all-black "Darkness Falls" combination against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. For now, the attention turns to Thursday, when Baltimore will debut its redesigned Purple Rising uniforms while looking for a much-needed victory in front of its home crowd.
