Tottenham Hotspur did well to bolster their attack by bringing in Savio, Omar Marmoush and Mykhailo Mudryk in the summer transfer window. Their arrivals at N17 meant that Roberto De Zerbi has more options to choose from throughout the season.
However, it is fair to say the aforementioned players haven’t really had the desired impact. Savio and Marmoush are still waiting for their first goal contribution in the Premier League, while Mudryk has been sidelined with an ankle injury after making his debut against Nottingham Forest.
A major concern has been the Lilywhites’ lack of goalscoring options, which has become De Zerbi’s most obvious problem with his team netting only thrice in six league fixtures. It appears, though, that the N17 bosses have already begun looking at versatile options who could help address that well-documented issue.
Recent reports suggest that Spurs are among several Premier League clubs keeping close tabs on Brentford forward Kevin Schade.
Kevin Schade has scored three goals in six appearances for Brentford this season, helping the Bees remain unbeaten and rise to fourth in the table. The 24-year-old’s profile saw an elevation when he received his first call-up to the Germany national team squad during the past international break. His pace, directness, flair and improved finishing has also caught the attention of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.
Now, according to a report from TEAMtalk, Brentford would demand more than £60million for Schade for any mid-season departure. The West London club insist they are under no pressure to sell the German international and have already begun contract talks with the representatives of the player, whose current contract runs until 2028.
Talks over fresh terms suggest the Bees’ desire to retain the forward who has become key to Keith Andrews’ plans at the Gtech Community Stadium. A successful extension would substantially raise the fee required to poach him away from Brentford, potentially handing Schade’s suitors a big blow.

The North London club are hoping to add more firepower in the final third during the winter transfer window. They have set their sights on Schade, and for all the right reasons.
In Schade, Spurs would get a Premier League-proven, versatile and bright attacking talent with the best years ahead of him. The German forward’s dynamism, pace and running power would make him a strong fit in De Zerbi’s system, while being an upgrade on Mathys Tel. His agility, intelligent movement, and ability to finish with both feet make him one of Brentford’s standout performers.
Therefore, Tottenham should do everything they can to bring Schade to N17 when the transfer window reopens.
