Igor Jesus has been sadly missed by Nottingham Forest since the last international break, with the Reds failing to win in his absence.
Jesus picked up a calf injury that Oliver Glasner said would keep him out of action for a few weeks and that came ahead of the club’s 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at the start of October.
The Brazilian scored in Forest’s only win of the season against Aston Villa back in mid-September, and it’s fair to say the Reds have missed an abundance of chances without him in the team.
On Saturday, Forest face Manchester City, and it would appear as though Jesus might just be offering a positive ahead of the contest.
Ahead of Saturday’s contest, Jesus has taken to Instagram to suggest that he’s on the mend, posting a photo of him heading out to training with the rest of the team.
Jesus has also posted three prayer emojis, and it does feel as though there will be some positive news when it comes to Jesus returning to the Forest ranks.
Nobody is suggesting that Jesus will be the messiah and saviour for Oliver Glasner, but in and around the box, there’s an argument that he’s a better option than Dan Ndoye.

Jesus had started the season pretty well. Not in a goalscoring perspective but in the sense that he provides more of an attacking threat in behind the striker.
Having another option to call upon and another player who is a nuisance in the box would be nice, and hopefully, Glasner doesn’t hesitate to get Jesus back in the starting line-up.
