Ladislav Krejci believes Wolves need to be more clinical in the final third after they were held to a draw by Wrexham.
Wolves missed the chance to climb to the top of the Championship but head into the international break unbeaten in six league games following a 1-1 draw at the Racecourse Ground.
They applied plenty of pressure in the second half, but defender Krejci felt they needed to do more to test the Wrexham goalkeeper.
“I am a bit sad because the second half, I think we were only in Wrexham’s half,” he told Sky Sports post-match.
“We need to be more strong in the final third and create more chances I think.”
Wolves took the lead midway through the first half through Adam Armstrong’s superb volley, but their advantage lasted just minutes.
They were exposed down the right as Issa Kabore delivered a cross for Lewis O’Brien to head home, with Wolves unable to deal with the danger.
Reflecting on the equaliser, Krejci added: “Yeah, very sad. We know how strong they are with the crosses and in the air. But it was a situation we didn’t solve and unfortunately we conceded.
“But we created a lot of chances to score on the other side. We take the positive things from it and can hopefully continue winning after the international break.”
Krejci is among those who will now join up with their national teams for the international fixtures, with the Czech Republic captain joking that he has little idea what a break actually feels like.
He said: “I am looking forward to it. I don’t know what rest means, because I have not had a rest for a long time. But I get Adam to send me some pictures from his holidays.”
