Former TNA World Champion Rich Swann’s contract with the promotion is reportedly set to expire at the end of 2026.
Rich Swann signed with TNA Wrestling in June 2018 after WWE released him a few months earlier. He’s a two-time World Champion and has also held the X Division and Digital Media Titles. He signed a short-term extension with the company earlier this year.
According to Fightful Select, Rich Swann’s TNA contract will expire at the end of this year. He will become an unrestricted free agent after that, and the outlet said they haven’t heard anything about the company discussing a new deal with him.
Rich Swann recently competed for the vacant TNA X Division Championship at Bound for Glory. After failing to win the title, he competed in a No.1 contendership Fatal Four-Way on the October 22 episode of iMPACT. However, Cedric Alexander emerged victorious.
Recent reports indicated that TNA Wrestling is preparing for a busy period of contract negotiations with several talents. He told the roster that the company would work on finalising multiple deals. With several contracts set to expire at the end of this year, the promotion reportedly wants to get ahead of its contract negotiations to help the creative team plan for the future.
