Ewen Cameron has shared what he thinks will happen as Rangers visit Dens Park to take on Dundee in the Scottish Premiership.

The STV Radio broadcaster has notoriously shown his disdain for the Glasgow sides, being a Hearts fan.

His hostility toward Rangers was undoubtedly amplified when the likes of Derek McInnes, Lawrence Shankland and Cammy Devlin moved to Ibrox in the summer, weakening the Tynecastle outfit in the bargain.

Rangers star Olwethu Makhanya has been told he’s not even worth £15m, but we disagree!

How much would you be happy to sell him for in the summer?

Ewen Cameron predicts Rangers to beat Dundee

Speaking on the STV Radio Football Takeover, Cameron stated that while it may seem a tough game for the Light Blues on paper, he expects the away side to win the game. He expects them to pick up the three points and go to the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

The reason for that is not because he has been pleased with how McInnes has got the Rangers side playing, but due to the injuries in the Dundee side. In his view, they do not have the depth to compete against the 55-time champions.

He said: “It’s one of those games that you think, on paper, is going to be a difficult one for Rangers. But Dundee have got injury concerns. They don’t have the biggest of squads. I think Rangers will go top of the Premiership table on Saturday night.”

How many Dundee players are expected to miss the Rangers game?

Swansea striker Bobby Wales, who is on loan at Dundee, will definitely be missing Saturday’s game against Rangers. He suffered an ankle injury on international duty when he represented the Scotland Under-21s side.

Drey Wright did not train at the start of the week due to a knee injury, and while he has not been officially ruled out, he is not expected to be fully fit going into the game.

Dundee captain Simon Murray, as well as Fin Robertson, will be missing this match and likely the rest of the season, as they have suffered cruciate injuries. Charlie Reilly and Ryan Finnigan are two further injury doubts and will need to pass late fitness tests.
