The U's drew 0-0 with Bradford on Saturday afternoon in a match that was the epitome of 'a game of two halves'.
Ramsey's men enjoyed 11 shots and two big chances in the first period, striker Gatlin O'Donkor failing to find the net with four efforts on goal on his first league start for Oxford in three-and-a-half years.
The Bantams then took the second half by storm, having 11 attempts and two big chances themselves as opposed to the hosts' four.
After a game that could have been won by either side, the Yellows head coach was left wanting more: "Loads to like, especially in that first half.
"The way we pressed, the way we created the opportunities. They've only conceded five goals all season.

"So, we knew how difficult that was, but I thought when we moved the ball really well, especially in that first half, we carved them open a few times and perhaps should have been one or two up [at half time].
"But I want to demand more as well in that second half.
The former Arsenal midfielder added: "We've got to demand that as well because these are the games that you want to show what you're all about.
"Second half then, it was to be expected as well that they were going to come because they're a good team and they are where they are at the moment for a reason."
Ramsey continued: "But now it's about trying to improve, demand more, because if we do that and play the way that we did in the first half with and without the ball, then we should fear nobody this season."
Centre forward O'Donkor came into the starting XI for Mark Harris, starting his first match in the league for any club since May 2025 whilst on loan at Bristol Rovers.
The 22-year-old's overall display was impressive, proving a handful for defenders with his physicality and clever movement up front.
However, the U's academy graduate could not find the net from his four shots, a header whilst unmarked in the box going wide which he should have at least hit the target with.
O'Donkor's boss Ramsey was content, however, acknowledging his positive attributes: "I'm really pleased for him that he's come on and started the game today for us.
"We know what he's all about: his link-up play, the way he's really powerful, strong.

"He can hold it up. He can run in behind. He's quick.
"All that was missing from his performance today was a goal. But no complaints. He's getting into the right areas.
"And he's had three really good chances today.
"On another day, he puts them in the back of the net. But a really pleasing performance from him."
