Looking to maintain their perfect start to the Primeira Liga season, defending champions Porto welcome struggling Estoril Praia to the Estadio do Dragao on Saturday evening.
The Dragons sit five points clear at the top of the Portuguese top-flight table after winning all nine of their opening fixtures, while the Canaries are rooted to the bottom of the standings, five points adrift of safety and still searching for their first league victory.
Porto ended a three-year wait for the Primeira Liga title last season and have made an outstanding start to their title defence, collecting all 27 available points to record their best opening to a league campaign since 1939-40.
As was the case in 2025, during Francesco Farioli's first season in charge, the Dragons have built their title charge on a solid defensive foundation, conceding a league-low four goals despite experiencing a spell of uncertainty at the back.
Last weekend's 1-0 victory over Gil Vicente ended a two-game losing run following consecutive Champions League defeats to Real Betis and PSV, while also marking the Blue and Whites' first clean sheet in eight matches across all competitions.
Porto maintained that defensive solidity in midweek, when a completely changed lineup secured a 1-0 victory over Academico de Viseu in the Taca da Liga quarter-finals, earning Farioli his 50th win in 67 competitive matches at the helm.
With a Champions League meeting against Napoli on the horizon next week, the Dragons will be keen to extend their domestic dominance and have reason for confidence against a side they have beaten in each of their last four meetings.
Estoril head into Saturday's contest desperate to turn their fortunes around after losing their last four league matches, including a 3-1 home defeat to Moreirense last weekend, which left them as the only side yet to register a Primeira Liga victory this season.
Much of the Canaries' struggle has stemmed from a blunt attack that has managed just five league goals - a joint-low in the division - while conceding three times as many at the other end.
Leandro Pires therefore faces a significant task in improving his side's attacking output ahead of his second league match in charge, having taken over the first team following Vasco Matos's dismissal in mid-October.
Although Estoril secured a penalty shootout victory over lower-division side Salgueiros in their most recent away outing in the Taca de Portugal, a trip to the Dragao presents a tougher challenge, particularly as the Canaries have lost all four of their league matches on the road this season.

Porto are expected to be without William Gomes, who is sidelined with an ankle injury, while Vasco Sousa remains unavailable as he continues his recovery from a broken fibula.
Oskar Pietuszewski is dealing with a minor thigh muscle problem and is doubtful for Saturday's contest, while former Manchester United defender Chris Smalling will need to be assessed after picking up a knock in the cup tie against Academico.
Farioli made wholesale changes for the midweek victory over the Viseu club, and the likes of Diogo Costa, Jan Bednarek and Jakub Kiwior are expected to return to the starting lineup.
Estoril remain without Israel Salazar and Fabricio Garcia, both of whom are recovering from knee ligament injuries.
Meanwhile, the Canaries could again be without key attacker Yanis Begraoui, who has missed the last three matches.
Porto possible starting lineup:
D Costa; A Costa, Bednarek, Kiwior, Sanusi; Froholdt, Rosario, Veiga; Sainz, Samu, Pepe
Estoril Praia possible starting lineup:

Porto's flawless league record, defensive solidity and recent dominance in this fixture make the hosts strong favourites to collect another three points, particularly against an Estoril side still searching for its first league victory of the campaign.
