Dana White would be happy to settle his differences with Eddie Hearn behind closed doors.
It was said earlier this week that Misfits sent an offer to Hearn and White that would see them both earn $10 million to fight each other.
The UFC president has since rejected that he’s received this, with White showing little interest when asked about it last month.
However, there is a different route that the fight could take which would convince at least one of the two promoters to lace up some gloves.
Dana White has claimed to be open to a boxing match with Eddie Hearn: Who do you think would win if they met in the ring?
Dana White suggested that he could box Eddie Hearn following clashes between the two promoters back in March.
The UFC boss has since gone back on his words by arguing that no one would want to see this and that it would be disrespectful to put the matchup on a card featuring professional boxers.
White recently used how Mike Tyson looked when fighting Jake Paul at 58 despite all of his boxing experience when explaining how bad this bout would be to watch.
He went on to add that his proposal is that if Hearn really wants to make this happen, they can trade blows without the public watching on.
“What kind of a fight do you think that would be? And how that would look and why people would want to even f—— waste one second,” White told All Out Fighting. “If Eddie Hearn wants to fight, he can pick the gym here in London. We’ll go down to the f—— gym, me and him, and we can f—— do it.”

It has been made clear on countless occasions that White isn’t interested in how much he could gain financially from actually making this fight happen.
His suggestion of this being behind closed doors feels more like further evidence of him ruling out the chances of it coming to fruition rather than an offer.
The UFC boss has consistently said that no one would be interested in watching, which simply isn’t true, hence the suggestion to do it with no fans in attendance.
Hearn has argued the opposite in previous months, knowing that a fight between two of the biggest names and personalities in combat sports would sell the bout by itself.
There are people that would hate the idea of this being a reality, but combat sports has always been able to turn heads by both having the best fight the best and putting on special attractions that you can’t turn away from.
White facing Hearn in a boxing match would likely be a bad fight, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be interesting to watch or generate a lot of attention.
Celebrities or influencers competing in combat sports are proof of this, showing that not every combat sports fan is only interested in watching the very best athletes.
It’s therefore hard to agree with White’s comments on how fans would feel about this, though he may not want to personally become a part of that world by competing in it.
