HOUSTON — Who says this?

Seven games in, 10 more to go and John Harbaugh is ready to anoint the Giants as a true contender.

“We’re gonna be in this thing to the end now,’’ the veteran head coach said on a Sunday to remember for himself, his team and, perhaps, the present and future of the franchise.

Sure, Harbaugh was still flush with emotion after watching Devin Singletary do what everyone calls him — “Motor’’ — for 30 yards for the game-winning touchdown in a pulsating 27-21 overtime victory over the Texans inside Reliant Stadium, where chants of “Let’s Go Giants!’’ could be heard as the road squad was taking it to the heavily favored home team.
