The Carabao Cup has reached the fourth-round stage, and after just two of its eight matches, we have been treated to one of the biggest shocks in the competition's history. Premier League champions Arsenal were stunned by Fleetwood Town, who are 18th in League Two, at Highbury Stadium last night. The Gunners lost 5-3 on penalties after Bruno Guimaraes missed his spot-kick, having drawn 1-1 in 90 minutes.
Mikel Arteta's team responded to going a goal behind but could not find a winner and paid the price in the shootout. Elsewhere, League One's Bradford City reached the Carabao Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 2013 by beating Peterborough United.
More cup drama awaits tonight, with another five matches to be played before the quarter-final draw. Liverpool host Chelsea at Anfield while Man City take on Brighton. Another exciting all-Premier League clash sees Aston Villa travel to Bournemouth.
Express Sport brings you live coverage of the draw below...

It is indeed penalties at Anfield. It finishes 1-1 after spot-kicks from Morgan Rogers and Cody Gakpo at either end.
We've had two home wins in the other shootouts so far this round, for Fleetwood Town and Manchester City.
Will we get a third home winner or will Xabi Alonso and Jordan Henderson haunt their former club?
Let's find out...
13 mins ago21:43 Charlie Malam
Should we get a late winner at Anfield, the draw should take place at around 10.20pm.
But as we said earlier, it will be delayed if Liverpool and Chelsea require a penalty shootout.
We won't get it until at least 10.30pm in that scenario. Probably nearer to 10.40pm.

Four of tonight's matches are now complete.
FT: Man City 2-2 Brighton (City win 4-3 on penalties)
FT: Bournemouth 3-0 Aston Villa
FT: Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace
FT: Sunderland 3-2 Brentford
In the only game still being played, Liverpool and Chelsea are drawing 1-1 at Anfield with a little over 10 minutes remaining.
We could be set for a second shootout of the night on Merseyside!
21 mins ago21:35 Charlie Malam
Several perfect penalties at the Etihad - until they're not.
Mateo Kovacic, who made it 1-1 earlier in the night, sees his spot-kick saved by Jason Steele.
But Geronimo Rulli saves from Yasin Ayari immediately after.
Rayan Cherki scores City's fifth, before Rulli saves from Lewis Dunk and the home side win the shootout 4-3.
The holders are into the quarter-finals!
32 mins ago21:24 Charlie Malam
It's penalties at the Etihad!
Man City draw 2-2 with Brighton and a shootout will now decide who reaches the last eight.
The other live scores are...
81 mins: Bournemouth 3-0 Aston Villa
80 mins: Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace
80 mins: Sunderland 3-1 Brentford
63 mins: Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea
44 mins ago21:12 Charlie Malam
It looks pretty safe to say Bournemouth are in the next round!
They lead Aston Villa 3-0 now thanks to Alvaro Rodriguez.
The Cherries haven't reached the quarter-finals since the 2018-19 season.
53 mins ago21:03 Charlie Malam
We've got another equaliser over at the Etihad.
Vitor Reis has his first City goal after a deflected Rayan Cherki free-kick finds the net courtesy of the underside of Reis' boot in the 72nd minute.
Can either team score a winner or will we have another penalty shootout?
58 mins ago20:58 Charlie Malam
Wow. Liverpool scorer Cody Gakpo now has 11 goals in just 13 Carabao Cup appearances!
Elsewhere, Bournemouth have just doubled their lead over Aston Villa.
The Cherries are another club that have not yet won a major trophy.
1 hour ago20:51 Charlie Malam
So then, if these scores stay as they are, here's how we'll look for the draw at 10.20pm:
1. Bournemouth
2. Bradford City
3. Everton or Newcastle
4. Fleetwood Town
5. Crystal Palace
6. Liverpool or Chelsea
7. Brighton & Hove Albion
8. Sunderland

What drama at Anfield! Now it's a penalty at the other end to Liverpool.
From a corner, the ball hits the outstretched arm of Wesley Fofana.
Cody Gakpo steps up and beats Mike Penders in front of the Kop and it's 1-1.
1 hour ago20:40 Charlie Malam
And the deadlock is broken at Anfield.
Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch fouls Moises Caicedo inside the box to hand Chelsea a penalty.
Up steps Morgan Rogers, and he sends Giorgi Mamardashvili the wrong way to put the Blues in front.
1 hour ago20:37 Charlie Malam
The net is rippling again at the Etihad.
Just two minutes into the second half, Georginio Rutter puts Brighton 2-1 up in front of a jubilant away end.

HT: Man City 1-1 Brighton

2 hours ago20:15 Charlie Malam
Two quickfire goals at the Stadium of Light have Sunderland 2-0 up on Brentford.
The Black Cats haven't won a cup since 1973 but look good for a place in the last eight as it stands.
2 hours ago20:10 Charlie Malam
That didn't last long! City are level. Mateo Kovacic evens it up at the Etihad.
2 hours ago20:06 Charlie Malam
Ladies and gentlemen, we might have another upset on the cards.
A much-changed Brighton are currently beating a much-changed Brighton 1-0 at the Etihad.
Malick Yalcouye puts the Seagulls in front after half an hour.
It wouldn't be as big a shock as last night, when Fleetwood beat Arsenal, because Brighton are brilliant.
But it's still not often City lose at the Etihad and they are the current holders of the trophy remember!
2 hours ago19:53 Charlie Malam
We have our first goal of the night!
Amine Adli puts Bournemouth 1-0 up against Aston Villa after only seven minutes.
The clash between Liverpool and Chelsea will get underway at Anfield soon too.
2 hours ago19:48 Charlie Malam
We're underway in four of tonight's five matches!
Man City are still goalless against Brighton after 17 minutes of their match.
The two teams also meet at the same stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
And the games at Craven Cottage, the Vitality Stadium and the Stadium of Light have also all kicked off.
3 hours ago19:23 Charlie Malam
We've got used to familiar winners in the Carabao Cup.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have won this trophy 11 times since 2014.
The only exceptions were Chelsea in 2015 and Newcastle in 2025.
How the likes of Villa, Everton, Fulham and Brighton would desperately love to win this cup.
Villa haven't lifted a domestic cup since 1996, Everton are trophyless since 1995 while Brighton and Fulham have NEVER won the League Cup or FA Cup.
3 hours ago18:57 Charlie Malam
Watch out, Liverpool.
Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso has said he will celebrate if the Blues score against his old club at Anfield tonight.
The Spaniard, 44, returns for the first time since becoming Chelsea manager.
He has lost on both of his previous two trips with Real Madrid (1-0) and Bayer Leverkusen (2-0).
He said...
Of course, I will celebrate, for sure. With full respect because for sure, my warmth with Liverpool was there as a player.
But now, I am in a different role, I need to support my team, I need to support my club, I fight for my club and if we score, I will celebrate with whole respect.
That is the respect for my club and the respect for the opponent as well.
Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson starts in the Chelsea midfield tonight too.

Tonight, we're guaranteed to lose another member of the big six - with either Liverpool or Chelsea dipping out of the Carabao Cup.
And we'll lose two of the Premier League's most in-form teams too, with Man City playing Brighton.
Arsenal, of course, were eliminated last night while Manchester United and Tottenham crashed out in round three.
Could we be in line for a surprise winner this season?
3 hours ago18:34 Charlie Malam
One bit of non-draw Carabao Cup news to bring you.
After his red card last night, Arsenal have decided they WILL launch an appeal to try and have Max Dowman available against Liverpool in the Premier League this Sunday.
The 16-year-old midfielder was dismissed after his reaction to a strong challenge from Fleetwood's Harrison Neal.
Dowman stands to face a three-match suspension and miss Arsenal's trip to Anfield this weekend unless their appeal is a success.

1. Bournemouth or Aston Villa
2. Bradford City
3. Everton or Newcastle
4. Fleetwood Town
5. Fulham or Crystal Palace
6. Liverpool or Chelsea
7. Manchester City or Brighton
8. Sunderland or Brentford

So. The big question: what time is tonight's draw?
Well, here's the kicker. It's not until after Liverpool vs Chelsea finishes.
Should that match be decided within 90 minutes, we can expect the draw to begin at about 10.25pm.
Should it go to penalties, you can expect to wait until nearer to 10.45pm.
All eyes on Anfield, then.
4 hours ago18:15 Charlie Malam
I know what you're thinking. 'But that leaves one more match?'
Yep, the final match of the fourth round takes place tomorrow night at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It's another all-Premier League contest as Everton host Newcastle United.
4 hours ago18:10 Charlie Malam
While we've had two results already confirmed, we've still got another five of the remaining six ties to be played tonight.
7.30pm: Man City vs Brighton
7.45pm: Fulham vs Crystal Palace
7.45pm: Bournemouth vs Aston Villa
7.45pm: Sunderland vs Brentford
8pm: Liverpool vs Chelsea
Five all-Premier League match-ups!
4 hours ago18:05 Charlie Malam
So far, we've had two confirmed results in this round of the Carabao Cup.
Both matches were played last night...
Bradford City 2-0 Peterborough United
Fleetwood Town 1-1 Arsenal (5-3 on penalties)
That means we'll have a League One team AND a League Two team in tonight's draw. How fun!
