What kind of reception do you expect Derek McInnes to get during the Hearts vs Rangers game? It's the first time McInnes is returning to Tynecastle…
Teenan will be working at the club’s academy structure that operates out of the Rangers Training Centre at Auchenhowie. His role will include live-coding or post-match coding games and training sessions. This will benefit the club in numerous ways as it will help break down metrics like pass accuracy, pressing intensity, duels won, etc., that can then be relayed back to the coaches at different levels.
It’s understood that he will work under the structure that has been set up by the likes of Stig Inge Bjornebye, the Performance Director, and Brian Gilmour, the Interim Academy Director. David Hopkin, the Head of Academy Scouting, is also expected to oversee some of Teenan’s reports.
As things stand, it is unclear whether or not there will be a permanent role up for grabs in the future.
