Man Utd boss Michael Carrick will fight to live another day after his side secured a battling 1-1 draw against rivals Leeds on Sunday afternoon.
Bryan Mbeumo put the Red Devils in front with a neat finish from a Youri Tielemans cross in the first half.
However, Dominic Calvert-Lewin pegged Carrick‘s men back just after the interval, and neither side subsequently managed to find a winner before the final whistle blew.

RB – Leny Yoro – 8/10 – cleared pretty much every cross that came his way, keeping the dangerous Noah Okafor quiet. He should start at centre-back against Bournemouth next weekend.
CB – Harry Maguire – 7/10 – made 33 clearances, but he was blocked off at the corner that led to Calvert-Lewin’s equaliser. Did all that he could to stop Leeds’ frontline.
CB – Lisandro Martinez – 5/10 – picked up a thigh injury in the first half, but he played through the pain before being forced off at the break.
LB – Diogo Dalot – 5/10 – got forward when he could, setting up one or two counter-attacks, but he struggled defensively as Leeds overloaded the right with Jayden Bogle and James Justin.
CM – Carlos Baleba – 5/10 – worked hard, but he will be very disappointed that he lost Calvert-Lewin for Leeds’ equaliser.
United do, however, look much better defensively when Baleba starts. The Cameroon international has the ability to cover ground and make crucial tackles/interceptions.
AM – Youri Tielemans – 7/10 – the Belgian is much more comfortable with two midfielders sitting behind him. He created Mbeumo’s goal with a pinpoint delivery. However, his influence faded in the second half.
CF – Bryan Mbeumo – 7/10 – missed a free header before taking his next chance. Fans will hope the goal will boost his confidence ahead of some big games.
LW – Bruno Fernandes – 4/10 – heavy touches, poorly executed shots and bad discipline. Something is clearly up with the captain.
Fernandes has had a very poor start to the season. He has only made goal contributions in one Premier League match so far – that was the 5-2 win against Ipswich Town back in August when he scored a hat-trick and provided an assist.
Mason Mount – 5/10 – the midfielder fluffed his shot after a well-worked corner routine. That was his only contribution of note after replacing Baleba in the middle of the park.
Matheus Cunha – N/A – barely had any time to make an impact on proceedings. Carrick’s fear of losing clearly stopped him from putting on more attack-minded players earlier in the second half.
