The Arizona Cardinals have a number of injuries to account for in their Week 7 home game against the Denver Broncos. They made some roster moves on Saturday to counter those injuries, adding three to the active roster.
They signed running back Evan Hull from the practice squad to the active roster, as he will be the third running back active for the game with rookie Jeremiyah Love ruled out. He was elevated last week and returned to the practice squad.
To make room for him, rookie safety Wydett Williams was waived. Because safety Andrew Wingard was ruled out with a knee injury for the third consecutive game, it appears that Budda Baker, questionable to play with a groin injury, is going to play. The only other two safeties on the roster are Kitan Crawford and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson.
The Cardinals also elevated two players from the practice squad to the active roster. They elevated offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun and defensive lineman Jared Harrison-Hunte.
With Jon Gaines ruled out with knee and ankle injuries, and with Hayden Conner starting at right guard in his place, the Cardinals didn't have a backup center to have for the game. Eguakun is a center. He will be the backup to starting center Hjalte Froholdt.
Harrison-Hunte's elevation might mean that Darius Robinson won't be able to play. Walter Nolen has already been ruled out with an ankle injury. Robinson is questionable with a back injury.
The Cardinals and Broncos kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET (1:05 p.m. Arizona time) at State Farm Stadium on Sunday.
