Retour
The Arizona Cardinals are getting one safety back in Week 6 when two have been ruled out and another is questionable. The Cardinals activated safety Kitan Crawford from injured reserve after he was designated to return this week and got a full week of practice.
He landed on injured reserve, missing four games after spraining his ankle in the season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.
His return is timely.
Safety Andrew Wingard has a knee injury and has been ruled out for the second consecutive game, and rookie safety Wydett Williams suffered a concussion last week and has been also ruled out for Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Starting safety Budda Baker is questionable with a groin injury and safety Jerrick Reed was elevated from the practice squad, so the Cardinals have three healthy safeties on the roster (Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, Crawford, Reed), two ruled out (Wingard, Williams) and one whose availability is in doubt (Baker).
The Cardinals and Rams kick off on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET (1:05 p.m. Arizona time), and will announce inactives 90 minutes before that.
