As the road to Survivor Series draws ever closer, the teams for both the men’s and women’s matches have begun forming on WWE television in recent weeks.

When it comes to the men’s match, the Bloodline are likely set to collide with the 946 in the match, with Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price currently down a member against the Bloodline.

However, the road to the match may not be as simple as it seems.

Roman Reigns going ‘back to the drawing board’

On this week’s Raw show, Roman Reigns attempted to recruit Sami Zayn to his side in the war against the 946, but after things turned hostile between them, he would end up not doing so.

In a backstage interview following the segment, Reigns would note that he would have to go ‘back to the drawing board’ in terms of finding allies against the group.

However, with Jacob Fatu factored in, the Bloodline do currently outnumber the 946, but Reigns’ comments on Raw would lead you to believe that he is in need of an outside competitor to join the family against the group.

There has long been speculation about a member of the Bloodline turning heel to align with the 946, and with Jacob Fatu being the only one absent in recent weeks, it would seem as though he would be the one to do so, making him the fifth member of the 946’s team, and Reigns needing to search for another ally.

Who could join the team?

When it comes to who could be the final member of the Bloodline’s War Games team, the obvious first choice would be Zilla Fatu, who was reportedly not expected to be in NXT for very long after debuting for the brand back in August.

LA Knight would also make sense to join the team, though it would be a difficult sell for WWE to justify him finally deciding to work with the Bloodline after years of issues with the family.

That leaves Seth Rollins, who has not been seen on WWE television since the main event of SummerSlam, where Roman Reigns finally defeated him to bring an end their 14 year chapter, with the two men sharing the Shield fist bump in the ring.

Whoever ends up filling out the teams, we will hopefully get a better idea coming out of tomorrow night’s Raw.
