West Virginia's Cam Cook still leads the Big 12 in rushing yards, while his teammate and QB, Michael Hawkins Jr., leads the Big 12 in rushing scores.

West Virginia's game against Cincinnati was supposed to be a rushing battle. However, only one player reached 100 yards: Cincinnati's Cole Tabb, with 118 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Utah's elite running back, Wayshawn Parker, was held in check, finishing with 98 rushing yards and no touchdowns. Aiden Florda (Iowa State) was on bye. But Kansas State's game against Kansas saw some ground action. Joe Jackson and Avery Johnson had over 130 rushing yards; Jackson also had a touchdown. For the Jayhawks, Isaiah Marshall rushed for 117 yards.
