Head coach Rick Bowness said after Friday's 5-2 road loss to the Sabres that Voronkov is being evaluated for an upper-body injury, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Voronkov was unable to finish Friday's game, during which he logged 8:00 of ice time across 11 shifts. Sean Monahan (lower body) was also injured in Buffalo, leaving the Blue Jackets with a couple of question marks up front ahead of Tuesday's home matchup against Florida. Voronkov can be considered day-to-day for now.
