A Pelicans rookie walks up to a Mercedes wrapped in plastic, only to find it packed with popcorn. It’s an over-the-top welcome-to-the-NBA prank that looks like a nightmare to clean up.

The clip comes from a prank targeting New Orleans rookies Micah Peavy and Jeremiah Fears. Coverage says Peavy found popcorn in his car, and Fears’ car was hit with the same gag.

It’s messy and outrageous, but appears to be a harmless bit of rookie hazing with the teammates watching the reveal getting plenty of laughs.
